I am so happy that you have done the on-line news!!! I would love to see some information regarding the Farmers Market. I am so happy that Orting is giving all of us the opportunity to purchase the wonderful fruits and vegetables our local farmers provide, all in one location.

I would like to see more information about the building projects going on in Orting. For instance, what is going on at Ptarmigan school property and what is the story on the new bakery and what is happening to other projects that were started ie. Gratzer property?

Joe, I stopped in at City Hall to ask about the construction at the middle school..I was told it is a “stadium”..I can see the outlines of an oval track.
Regarding a bakery, this is the first I’ve heard of such..can anybody add to the facts here?

In reply to the bakery it is indeed coming as well as the equipment after its here and installed there are still other things that have to be done. The owners had hoped for the first week in July but, it don’t look possible at this time. For you who question it the building next to the library is the site where it is going. Only the equipment will have a modern look . It will really be filling the air with fresh bread, doughnuts etc all made from scratch like Mom used to do it.
